Rusty and I were able to go to Crystal Bridges, in Northwest, AR, this spring. This is an art museum built by the Walton’s. It is amazing. The daughter of Sam Walton, bought several famous art painting, and they are on permanent display. For the next five years, the admission is free. The architect and landscaping were carefully planned out. It fits very nicely in the wooded surrounding. As, you can see, I love architects and natural places. Some of the famous painting she had bought, are George Washington, Rosie the Rivetor, and artist Winslow Homer and many more, to many to name. For the ones from AR, the original music score about the Arkansas Traveller is on display. Yep, that how it was spelled back then. It definitely a place to put on your list to visit. While you could rush through and see it in one day, I suggest that you take your time and spend a few days and focus on the different sections they have. The first thing to greet you, is this sculpture silver tree. One of my favorites.
